Meet Elise
Hi, I’m Elise Wall, an artist based in Dallas, Texas, and originally from Oklahoma.
Creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories of art come from watching my older sister draw while we sat in church. Like any younger sister, I wanted to do everything she did. Soon, canvases, paints, and art supplies were at the top of every Christmas and birthday list, and painting became something I continued coming back to as I grew up.
I attended the University of Oklahoma, where I pursued a degree outside of art but found opportunities to continue creating whenever I could. One of the most influential was a course called Drawing the Natural World, where I discovered how naturally my love of art and the outdoors came together.
After graduating, I found myself returning to painting simply because I missed it. What began as a creative outlet gradually became something I wanted to share with other people.
Much of my work is inspired by nature—the imperfect shapes of wildflowers, reflections on water, changing landscapes, and the colors we sometimes overlook in everyday life. I love creating pieces that feel expressive; I’m especially drawn to texture, movement, and imperfection, using layered materials, expressive color, and loose marks to give each piece a sense of depth and character. While still capturing the beauty of the natural world.
Each piece is created by hand and is meant to bring a little of that beauty into your home.
From a Wall to your wall.
